Day by Day Itinerary :

Date 1 : N/A - 21.30

Day 1 Transfer in – Chiang Mai City tour – Khantoke Dinner

Morning arrival at Chiang Mai airport, meet and greet our tour guide and driver.

Afternoon, lunch is enjoyable at the local restaurant. After dining, A scenic drive through a noted residential area, followed by a trip to the famous Varoros market. Next, a visit to 3 temples, the 700 year old Wat Chiang-mun, the oldest temple within the city walls; Wat Pra-Singha, to view the 1,500 year old Buddha image; and Wat Suan-dok (A.D. 1371).

At 7pm, delight your mind and stomach with an exceptional Northern Thai dinner show. Highlights include the charming Fon-lep (finger dance), the graceful Fon tien (candle dance), and the arresting sword dance. Also featured are traditional Thai and hilltribe dancing.

Transfer you to the hotel, rest and relax.

Date 2 : 8.30 - 17.00

Day 2 Chiang Mai - Handicraft Village – Doi Suthep

A visit to the famous Thai Handicraft Village, showcasing silk, hand weaving, teakwood carving, silver and lacquer ware, umbrella and primitive paper making. Lunch will again be taken at a local restaurant.

After dining, then a journey to the historic Doi Suthep Temple, located at 3,500 feet, with its gardens and holy pagoda.

Date 3 : 8.00 - 16.30

Day 3 Chiang Mai – Chiang Dao elephant camp – Doi Mae Salong

Breakfast at the hotel. An early morning departure from Chiang Mai, traveling to Tha-Ton by mini van. Along the way, a stop will be made at an elephant camp, to watch the elephants perform and to take an hour elephant ride. Lunch at a local restaurant.

From Tha-Ton, proceed to Chiang Rai via boat, and enjoy the river views. Evening arrival at Chiang Rai, and transport to Phu Chai Sai Resort and Spa. Overnight at Phu Chai Sai.

Date 4 : 8.30 - 17.00

Day 4 Doi Mae Salong – Doi Tung

This morning explore Doi Mae Salong where you can profit the beauty of nature and deep breath of fresh air. This mountain is very famous for tea field and factory. Lunch is enjoy able at the local rtestaurant.

Next, drive to Doi Tung which is a former of Royal Villa of Queen Mom. The royal project is founded for the longevity of tribal human living in the area. See the Royal villa and royal garden in the area.

Transfer you to the hotel. Rest and relax.

Date 5 : 8.30 - 19.00

Day 5 Mae Sai – Golden Triangle – Chiang Saen – Chiang Mai

Breakfast at the hotel. The tour begins with a visit to a hill tribe village.Then explore Chiang Saen (the ancient capital of the Lanna Kingdom). The morning culminates with a trip to the "The Golden Triangle", where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos all come together. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

Continue to the Northernmost town of Mae Sai, along the Burmese border. Depart Chiang Rai for Chiang Mai, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. A short visit to a hot spring en route. Dinner will be taken at a local restaurant.

Date 6 : 8.00 - 17.00

Day 6 Lampang – Lamphun

This morning depart for Lampang. See Wat Phra That Lampang Luang which is considered as a wonder of Thailand. The beautiful architecture of Lanna style will take you more deep understanding of Lanna Kingdom. Next, you will be transferred to Lampang city by horse carriage. See local people lifestyle and its calmness and peacefulness of Lampang. Next visit is Wat Pra Kaew Don Tao in Lam Pang city. Lunch is enjoyable at the local restaurant.

Afternoon, you will be driven to Lamphun, a sister city of Chiang Mai. En route at local market at Baan Tha, see the local products and wildlife. Continue your day at Wat Phra That Hariphunchai, a royal temple during Hariphunchai region (before Lanna Kingdom). See a beautiful golden pagoda and peacefulness of temple area.

Drive back to Chiang Mai by passing Saraphi district. The numerous huge of tress along the road will make your day unforgettable. Transfer you to the hotel, rest and relax.

Date 7 : 8.30 - 17.00

Day 7 Doi Inthanon

A morning departure takes us to Doi Inthanon National Park, and the highest mountain in Thailand. It is a part of the Himalayan chain which ranges across Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, and terminates here in Northern Thailand. Our first stop is the mountaintop itself, followed by a botanical trail which winds through a cool and lush valley. Here, the colorful forest above 2,000 meters is brightened by lichen and wild orchids.

A 15-minute drive takes us to Phra Mahathat Napha Methanidon and Phra Mahathat Naphaphon Phumisiri, twin pagodas built to commemorate the birthdays of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit. The pagodas enshrine the Lord Buddha’s ashes, display Buddha images, and overlook the magnificent scenery of Doi Inthanon. Set against the mountain and amidst beautiful gardens, these pagodas are unlike any others in Thailand.

Next is our lunch stop at the the Doi Inthanon Royal Project. It was initiated in 1979 to help the hill tribes cultivate cash crops other than opium and train them in modern agricultural practices. Flower gardens, a plant breeding research lab and the flora of the Hmong hill tribe are open to visitors. Lunch is served here.

Then a visit to the Wachirathan waterfall, which plummets over the edge of a high cliff into a deep pool below, creating a moist and refreshing environment. Its delightful ambience is best experienced by a cool walk on the bridge that leads to the fall’s base. Energized, we drive onward to a Hmong Hill tribe village, experiencing their culture and viewing their everyday lifestyle.

Our next stop is Wat Phra That Jom Thong. Today’s tour concludes with a relaxing drive back to Chiang Mai.
